Dr Pranam Patel

I was born and raised in the UK and studied to become a Doctor at the University of Manchester Medical School, graduating in 2007. With 11 years of extensive medical work under my belt, I am an experienced physician. I did my GP training in the UK and have worked in both UK and Australian hospitals.

My areas of special interest include; Paediatrics, Chronic Disease Management, Mental Health, Sports Medicine, Obesity Management, Men’s Health and Skin Conditions. I also have a special interest in Aesthetic Medicine and administer anti-wrinkle injections and dermal fillers.

I have always been passionate about being a family physician and have lots of experience working as a family doctor. With English as my first language, I pride myself on my excellent communication skills with my patients. My aim is to cultivate long term relationships with patients, providing mutually agreed treatment plans with great follow up and after care. I want my patients to know I’m always there for them.

Outside of medicine I am a dedicated husband and father to two wonderful boys. Having young children means I know first hand how difficult having sick little ones can be and am always happy to answer any question, no matter how big or small. I am a fitness and sports enthusiast, supporting Manchester United and playing for the British Medical Football Team (that’s soccer to you Aussies!). One of my most cherished memories is the year we won the Doctors World Cup, scoring the winning goal in the process.
